The conference will take place in hybrid mode.

The conference is open to all individuals interested in exchanging ideas related to granular media and regolith issues, particularly how knowledge and methods developed for granular media can help to approach extraterrestrial regolith behavior under extreme temperature, thin atmosphere, radiation, meteorite impact and other extreme environmental conditions.

Registration Information for the participants who attend the workshop in-person

Full registration includes the following:

• Breakfast, lunch, and coffee/refreshment at coffee break on Tuesday, April 15; Wednesday, April 16; and Thursday,    April 17.

• Welcome "Reception at Hotel de Ville" on Monday, April 14, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and "Metz Visiting tour" on Tuesday, April 15 afternoon.

• The gala dinner will held in Saint-Pierre-aux-Nonnains on April 16, at 7:30 pm. The banquet depends on the registration fees, please see the details below.

• Access to the book of abstracts.

• wifi connection.

And for the authors (should attend the workshop in-person):

• At least one of the authors of an accepted presentation must register for the conference, even if the author is a student.

• Each registration is valid for one person and covers the presentation of one unique paper only.

• All authors must register by March 7 for their presentations to be included in the printed conference program schedule.

For students and PhD students: Please provide the certificate of education

For the accompanying persons: 

Early bird registration (until March 7, 2025): 200 euros per person

Regular registration (after March 7, 2025): 300 euros per person

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be sent in writing or via email. All refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis and are reviewed 30 days post-conference.

Cancellations requests received prior to 30 days in advance received full refund, less 100 euros processing fee for in-person participants, and 25 euros for participants in-distance, corresponding to administrative fees of the Université de Lorraine.
